Beyond Expectations

This Sunday is Palm Sunday and marks the beginning of Holy Week. The Jewish people in Jesus’s time were waiting for a savior that would come and vanquish their enemies and deliver them. Their excitement for Jesus turned to anger when he didn’t meet their expectations but in reality Jesus was going so far beyond their expectations that they couldn’t even see it.
