Too often we give no real thought to the spiritual battle that is going on all the time all around us. Maybe it’s because it feels less real or just so foreign that we just steer away from it all together. This is not how Jesus thought, talked, or acted. It was primary to him and not secondary. It’s why he tells Peter to put away the sword and it’s why he tells Pilot that his kingdom is not of this world.
