The Kinsman Redeemer

The concept of a kinsman redeemer is an overarching theme in the book of Ruth, but it’s a concept that seems very foreign, odd, and possibly even oppressive to our modern view of the world. However, it is something that is beautiful in its own right if we will dive deeper into its meaning and how it points to Christ as our ultimate kinsman redeemer.
